Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You will start your safari with breakfast at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, and then our safari driver-guide will pick you up and drive you to Lake Mburo National Park with a stop at the Uganda equator in Kayabwe to take photos and do experiments. Proceed to drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, have lunch, and rest a bit.

Later, go for an afternoon game drive where you expect to watch various animal species such as zebras, impala, warthogs, and buffaloes, among other antelopes. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Eagle’s Nest – Budget Lodge.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and walking safari

After morning breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver guide to drive you to the park for a morning game drive. Expect to see several wild animals like warthogs, zebras, giant forest hogs, waterbucks, impalas, giraffes, and many more. After the game drive experience, return to the lodge to have lunch and a bit of rest.

In the evening, go for a guided nature walk where you will get up-close views of zebras, kobs, and buffaloes, as well as numerous bird species. Back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at leisure, followed by a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, passing through rolling hills and beautiful nature. Arrive in time for lunch, have lunch, and then, afterwards, go for a boat cruise on the lake where you will explore some of the 29 islands and also enjoy thrilling views of the landscape, birds, local people, and many others.

After the boat ride, return to the lodge for relaxation as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Bunyonyi Eco Rest – Budget.

Day 4: Departure to Kampala/Entebbe

After a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, you will meet up with your driver-guide to start the journey back to Kampala. Along the way, you will have a picnic lunch and enjoy a spectacular view of the countryside.

Arriving in the late afternoon, to be dropped off at your hotel or at any place of your choice. End of the 4 days Lake Mburo and Lake Bunyonyi tours.
